This is not the first time I have seen threads like this. Also I know of 2 Mods that left Comodo. Comodo will never be on top especially when there main Mod "Josh" quits every week then comes back.

I know, It's disgusting. They don't have my trust at all.
I'm Glad finally they let it be a public thread.

But you know why it is? Kevin displayed the conversation with google's cache so people could see it. Not long after comodo took the thread out of a private board and displayed it to the public.

I am sorry to say but Comodo is a joke and Melih is leading the pack. Comodo's philosophy "Building Trust". Well how can you expect people to trust a company that installs a crappy toolbar on you and where former Mods can bitch about things. Too bad Comodo couldn't go back to when things were simple. Comodo had the greatest firewall in 2.4. Now they have spread themselves thin into every aspect of a pc.

Answer is simple really, $$$$

Btw, Here's another one for ya - Melih says that comodo is community driven development. LOL

don't bash to hard on comodo for the toolbar powered by ask, check out my N360 review and you will see in there that even norton installs a norton toolbar powered by ask. What is worse, a free AV company doing it to you or one you have to pay for?

Why can't people see that companies need money and if they don't charge their products they have to find money from others places?

Symantec, Webroot and other large companies, are charging for their products and even though they want to install a toolbar too. That is wrong. CCleaner, which is a free product, which earn money from their included Yahoo Toolbar and donations, no body complains about their toolbar, but when Comodo does it, everything is wrong. Come on guys, stop using Norton instead - they want you to pay for it and install a toolbar? Comodo is at least free.

Languy your living in the past..............Comodo doesn't use the Ask Toolbar. Now they are using Hopsurf.......... :? Also Symantec immediately stopped the Ak Toolbar thing after so many people complained. People complained to Comodo but they didn't listen as always. They just changed toolbars. Symantec stopped the Ask Toolbar. Comodo has not stopped installing a toolbar.

Ok Comodo comes bundled with a toolbar so what can we do? complain?
the program is free unlike symantec...where the community has a right to say no to the toolbar since they pay for it..

Well reading that thread although as we have seen the concepts that Comodo use to work mainly because of the hips. I personally won't be using their products or recommending them as a possible solution not just because of that guys story but if they knowing release something that doesn't work and doesn't seem to take on others views. How can they realistically improve their product?
